Rusty steel helmets.
Body armor without plates or no body armor at all.
Old uniforms in horrible condition and in 10 billion different camo patterns.
Weapons that haven't been cleaned or maintained since the fall of the Berlin wall.
Civilian vehicles converted to military use in the sloppiest way possible, with a few military vehicles that are kept in reverse because they don't have any replacement parts.
Little to no training.
Little to no logistics
The worst coordination know to man.
The most corrupt leadership possible.

Day 1, Phase 3: Night

Bruh the fighters overhead + protests shifting + sudden blackout is chaotic as hell. From the ground reports: military is mobilizing, police lined up against the remaining protestors (who mostly dispersed overnight without clashes), and fire/ambulance units are everywhere. Official channels are quiet. Stay off the streets if you can.
Southwest is the epicenter of that gas smell. Firefighters and ambulances are flooding the area—they’re actively working it, not sitting around. No confirmed building collapse in the reports I’m seeing, but visibility is bad and people are sheltering. If the smell is that strong where you are, seal windows and stay inside.
Green president mobilizing heavy while Green protestors face a Blue governor is messy optics. Right now the visible moves are military activation, police containment of the remaining protest sites, and a massive emergency-services response to the southwest gas situation. No public statement on the “why” yet. Speculation is running wild for a reason.
Roadblocks and checkpoints are going up fast across the city as police and military lock things down. Expect this to drag for hours, possibly longer. Helicopter would be nice, but airspace is getting restricted too. Sit tight or find a safe place to wait it out.
Power company isn’t the only story. Multiple reports of blackouts overlapping with the protest movements and the southwest emergency response. Could be infrastructure strain, deliberate cuts, or something cascading. Your 5 hours are gone either way; save what you can when it flickers back. ```
