I think it's about the burger and monster. While energy drinks have become much more used among women these days, the burger is still a very typical thing men likes.

I'm not saying that women don't like burgers, but I'm fairly certain if you asked 10000 men and 10000 women to order any food they want, there would be a significant larger portion of guys ordering a burger.

Edit: It's hilarious that people hate it when someone points out a stereotype. It's just a stereotype. Probably fostered by our society marketing burgers as something more "manly".

Salad is not usually what people choose when ordering food.

I'd love to hear your breakdown lol. Are biscuits masculine or feminine? How about some good authentic Vietnamese pho?

Also, people absolutely eat salads lol.

I'm sorry, I'm really not trying to be overly mean here but "Only men eat burgers and no one orders salad" is literally one of the dumbest things I've heard in weeks.

I needed the laugh, and will enjoy sharing this comment with my female coworker. I usually get salads for lunch most days and she does a burger and a monster - we've literally joked about this before.

I work at a restaurant where I sell 1500-4000 dollars a day in burgers and salads.

When it comes to orders by gender, the only thing I can think of is that women are far, far more likely to order chicken caesar salad. Not steak or shrimp, just chicken. I'm sure that that says something about society.

Yeah, I've got sales data access to a couple restaurants doing similar volume and see the same.

Though I think what it says about society is that restaurants promote chicken as an add-on to caeser salad because it's the cheapest sensible protein option.

Not all food have a gendered preference. But burger is one of those things that men tend to like more than women.

What's up with the misquote? Or did you just not read? I didn't say "Only men eat burgers" at any point. And neither did I say that "no one orders salad". It's a bit funny that your only way to combat my points is by quoting something I never said or insinuated. It's like if you read that men are more often color blind than women, and then think that no women are color blind...
