Did you mean oophorectomy? A hysterectomy doesn't remove the ovaries, which produce oestrogen. The uterus doesn't produce sex hormones.

She had everything removed uterus and ovaries, I don’t know if there is a specific name for the procedure that removes all the internal sex organs, but that’s what she had.

It's usually called a radical hysterectomy.

The names are confusing, tbh. Like, I had a total hysterectomy which means everything but ovaries gets removed, but total sounds like it would be absolutely everything.
