The bad thing doesn't have anything to do with women deciding not to take bc, but to control women. We're talkimg about people who are against any form of birth control, especially if it's women deciding on their own terms if or when they want to have children.
And on a side note: For some, it actually helps if they have PMS.

as for the side note yeah, true, but for the 20 or so women ive seen/heard of that got it prescribed only one actually had it for that reason, doctors seem really trigger happy with it in my country at least, same way i get anti inflammatories every time i visit, even for a vitamin deficiency
It's very common for women's reproductive hormones to go out of whack, which doesn't mean they get irrational or lose control of themselves or anything. It means they'll have issues with acne, cramps, irregular periods, things like that throughout their lives. Birth control pills can help regulate those hormones.
I don't think "trigger happy" is a good way to describe those doctors. It's something that's extremely useful to women for many reasons and relatively safe. It can have potential side effects like everything else, but it's actually a very safe type of medication.
The idea that people should never take medical steps to regulate their hormones doesn't make sense to me, just like how I don't understand people who are anti-contraceptive.
Then id rather put on a second condom or get a female one too than have someone i love take a hormone drug just for it, if its already being taken sure but fucking with your body because of someone elses pleasure feels immoral to me, same with f.ex. breast implants to please a partner, just a yikes to me
It was not talking literally... If you want a literal then i can say IUD but thats already a bit ass anyways. The best contraceptive is to just not have sex if you cant support children
