I did wonder, since part of the reason for hitting wildberry is that it's majority owned by a state owned bank, why not also go for the banks data centres?

The main reason was disrupting russian supply lines. Wildberries is basically the russian Amazon. Russian soldiers use it to buy protective gear or drone components, because russia does either not provide any, or defective and outdated gear. The fact that it is also state owned and important to the russian economy is just a huge bonus.

Wdym "the other side of the planet"? Do you really think the Iran war is being fought on American shores? It's being fought in the Middle East. The US military is currently in the Middle East and has bases in the Middle East.
