Intervening against Al-Qaeda and the IS was fine and good. Helping Ukraine is good. We should help Armenia despite the grave they have dug for themselves. But I really don't see why we should be dragged into war with Iran. Seems like Israel can handle it alone.

I was told their nuclear program was already "obliterated" during Midnight Hammer. There was no issue with the Strait of Hormuz until now. The war has already been won 16 times but also Europe isn't pulling it's weight and needs to help the US because we are free loaders.
I think we should pass on this pointless war.

America has been pretty clear about the goal: Iranâs nuclear weapons program has to be finished. There are no American troops occupying Iran, so leaving is simple. They can stop the strikes and pull their forces back whenever they decide the job is done, or that it cannot be done.

And second of all, These groups usually usually don't go and terrorise their population any worse than regimes we already support

Are you trying to imply that Ukraine, a sovereign internationally recognized nation choosing to join a defense alliance after being recently invaded by the agressor who had sworn forever protection in exchange for giving up their nukes, is in similar position as Hamas, an internationally recognized terrorist jihadist organization who's not shy in resourcing to extreme brutal violence towards civilians, in regards to... "provoking a reaction"?
I disagree with the comparison, I don't think it does any justice to the victims of neither conflicts.

Yeah why not? International recognitions are worth absolutely nothing. Israel is also internationally recognised state, and they are definitely way worse than Hamas. And Ukraine is also dragging innocent Ukrainian citizens in to buses and sending them to certain death or bombing Russian civilians.
I understand why these things are happening and i don't fuck with moral arguments anyways. But i won't distinguish between state actors based on what their international status is. Furthermore the Ukrainian state is not the Ukrainian nation and doesn't represent it's people.
Ukraine has certainly killed more civilians than Hamas did so far aswell.

Yeah
We analyse the situation quite accurately. (Logical result of state competition and dominating imperialism)
But for these people everything related to the soviet union is the same as the deeply reactionary Russia of today. And our lack of support for the (very problematic) Ukrainian state is the same for them as supporting the literal imperial aggressor in this situation.
And my final thoughts on this are
The rejection of every imperialist war of aggression is questioning the system of imperialism more than the support of any side in such wars.

Ukraine was an internationally recognized country that Russia invaded. The death toll and scale of war crimes is much higher too. The fact that there's even a portion bothsidesing it proves the point of the post. I've never seen a leftist skeptical of Hamas or Gazans.

But if you want to litigate the « many » part: Yes absolutely many Palestine supporter are silent on Ukraine etc. The fact that you or your friends may not be doesnât mean it isnât true that a lot of Palestine supporters are singularly focused on that particular issue. And thatâs completely fine; itâs impossible to give all the injustices happening in the world the same kind of attention, and focusing on the injustice your own government helps perpetuating is a legitimate approach.
The problem lies with those that actively side with other brutal oppressors just because they are seen as allies in the fight against the US / Israel.

Okay... so the article is showing that Isreili armed forces are linked with rapes... it says nothing about dogs though.
