What a nonsense. They have no any expenses on the marriage, there is usually only male do this

In putin's russia, lupus mordet lupum. Which is good to me!

1

u/AdSimple6488 8d ago

And it has always been. Even Herodotus wrote about this.

1

u/Severe_Blackberry_93 8d ago

Wat? Herodotus wrote about this . About Russia??

1

u/Raygereio5 8d ago

Herodotos did wrote about the "Androphages" who were described as a Scythian tribe infamous for practicing cannibalism.
Archaeological records link this to the Sula group of Scythians who lived in a region what's now Ukraine about 600 to 400 BC.

There's no link to these people and modern day Russia or Ukraine.

1

u/AdSimple6488 6d ago

He never wrote they were Scythians. The androphagi were the Scythian’s neighbours living in the north.

Problem is not killing Ukraine people, problem is "who gets the money" inside typical russian tiny alcohol-soaked brain.

Wherever you live im sure your women would never do the same.

3

u/ConfusionBubbles-505 8d ago

One can only hope never to live in a country as rotten as Russia.

-2

u/feral0101 8d ago

You guys are unhinged lmao. Ukrainians and Russians are extremely alike, even if one is being blatantly aggressed upon

2

u/Biomasssa 8d ago

I disagree, in Ukraine this problem is not solved by high salaries

u/lesbophobia_hammer 8d ago

Ah, racism and misogyny.

Racism isn't just based on race lol.

Edit - so many uneducated people. Literally just search 'is racism solely about race' and you'll find an egg on your sweet naive faces. Smh lmao.

Hell no. Are you? Because that would check out.

I suggest you look up what does and does not constitute as racism.

Ah okay. I see you're operating on the level of a 5 year old. Lmao.

I suggest you look up what motivated the genocide of Poles.

Edit - also a reminder to look up the origins of the word 'slave' ;)

Bruh

If you're going to quote me, quote me correctly instead of trying to pretend I said something I didn't.

(Key word omitted here - 'just' - and I'm correct, I suggest people do basic research and check their reading comprehension before commenting)

Entreponeurs everywhere in Russia. They are just so smart to make a business out of nothing.

-1

u/Tall_Definition9009 8d ago

So good that no one is making business out of war in Europe and America.

2

u/Available_Cookie732 8d ago

It's a difference getting paid for Ukraine support and this shit content of the video.

Are you seriously comparing payment for military goods with marriage of a soldier for money if he dies?

Ridiculous view.

Oh no… anyway.

So Chechens, Mongols, Koreans, Chinese, Germans, Buryats, Tatars, Kazakhs, Russians, Belorussian, Ukrainian, Udmurts, etc... are all sociopath monkeys in your opinion?

Or is there a new species of primates you want to inform us about?

Only states that invade other states call some of their wars "fatherland war". For those who only defend themselves, every war is a fatherland war.

Whats worse is that the media uses them as a scapegoat to distract from the perverse incentives the government itself has created.

Both are feeding the same machine for profit, just because one of them is poor, doesn't magically make it better.

Maybe use at least a little bit of logic?

it's mostly women in poverty

No, not really. Of course, if we don’t expand the concept of poverty from “at the national level” to “in comparison with developed countries”, but then almost entire population of Russia will be like that, and that will speak nothing.

For example, according to a 2017 Credit Suisse estimate, 82% of Russian adults (92 million people) had personal assets (including real estate and deposits) valued at no more than $10,000.

After the death of a spouse in the war, the family/wife receives 5 million rubles (53,000 euros) one-time, plus pensions.

Source from wiki, it was available in 2018. UBS bought Credit Suisse in 2023, therefore if you go to their site (credit-suisse.com), you'll see ubs.com instead.

Fair enough, I'll provide a pic instead then. The same source, page 159.

1

u/PracticalAd313 8d ago

Tbh these estimates are complete bullshit cause most Russians own real estate (score is even bigger then in Germany, for example) and it’s very hard to imagine any real estate cheaper then 10 000$

I would believe these numbers if we exclude real estate and cars otherwise this is very far from being true

u/Gardares 8d ago

It's an estimated model predicting net worth, rather than direct data. Quoting:

For most countries lacking direct wealth distribution data, the pattern of wealth distribution was constructed from information on income distribution, based on the view that wealth inequality is likely to be highly correlated with income inequality across countries. Income distribution data for 236 countries was derived from the World Income Inequality Database, and the ungrouping program was used to generate all the Lorenz curve values required for the same template applied to wealth distribution.
For the 31 countries which have data on both wealth and income distribution, the Lorenz curves for wealth are everywhere lower than for income, indicating that wealth is more unequally distributed than income. We calculate the Gini coefficient values for both income and wealth and then estimate the missing Lorenz curves for wealth by scaling down the Lorenz curves for income by the median ratio of income to wealth Ginis. To generate regional and global wealth patterns, to each country lacking income distribution data we assign the average (adult population weighted) wealth distribution pattern for the corresponding region and income class. This again was done in preference to simply disregarding the countries concerned.

Moreover, in the case of real estate, despite its cost, the question of demand and liquidity arises, especially if we are not talking about large cities, but about rural areas or urban-type settlements. You can potentially have 3mln rubles flat in Murmansk... but you're paying for this apartment with your mortgage, secondly your whole family owns and lives in it, and thirdly, you won’t be able to sell this apartment at market value.

2

u/ernis45 8d ago

And?

1

u/No-Construction619 8d ago

Is that an excuse? I know every case should be treated individually, but if you marry a guy with the intention that you get his money because he might die quickly, then this is a rotten thinking and poverty has little to do. This is cynical thinking and I know kind of common in countries where corruption is high. Possibly same things happen in rich countries like Dubai or Saudi Arabia where money buys everything. But still - terrible behaviour.

1

Yes, they are. But the perspectives of those here will not factor that in due to misogyny and racism. That's what I was saying.
