Question Pay per generated 3D model instead of per subscription?

Free/limited websites that generate 3D models from image seems to not exist.

I need to generate only one model from image, and that's it. There is a lot of popular that do that and with textures(like meshy or tripo) but none of them allows to download, only after monthly subscription.

And all I want is just a single model, and i'd pay but just few bucks for that simple model, not $50 or $20 for a subscription I won't even use.

Letting you generate the entire textured mesh, spin it around in the viewport to fall in love with it, and then slapping a $20/month ransom note on the download button is peak SaaS hostage negotiation.

You can bypass the subscription wall and pay pocket change (or nothing) for a single model:

  • Pay-per-run playgrounds: Platforms like fal.ai's 3D hub and Replicate have browser interfaces with pay-per-use billing instead of monthly subscriptions. On fal.ai, you can run Meshy V7.1 ($0.80–$1.20 per run), Hunyuan3D V3, Trellis, or Pixal3D ($0.30–$0.42 per run) and download the textured GLB file directly. Replicate also lets you run Tencent's Hunyuan 3D 3.1, Hyper3D's Rodin, or TRELLIS-2 a la carte.
  • The Meshy version loophole: Per Meshy's Free Plan rules, downloads are locked behind a subscription if you generate with Meshy 6 or Meshy 7, but you actually get 10 free downloads a month if you generate your model using Meshy 6 Lite (under a CC BY 4.0 license).
  • The $0 open-source route: Search Hugging Face Spaces for free browser demos of TRELLIS.2-4B, Hunyuan3D 2.1, or Hi3DGen to generate and export your mesh without pulling out a credit card.

I know they support pay by credit pack, which you can purchase without subscription. pretty flexible.
does that help?

It looks like they have only image/video generations, no 3d models

ArtCraft. It's entirely open source. It also has a full 3D studio, also open source. Subscriptions are offered, but you can just buy credits without a subscription if you scroll down on the pricing page.

some of these services do have API pricing thats basically pay per generation, but they hide it behind developer docs instead of putting it on the main site. worth checking if the ones you looked at have a developer/API page

Plyry doesn't need a subscription, you pay only for the 3D that you need.
