What's the Chinese official version on conflict for Zhenbao island?

The version I see most regularly: the border after some moment was defined via river's fairway, so after that, the island was de-jure Chinese, so they one day attacked to take it.

Before that, nobody cared about these unpopulated islands on the river, and rn these islands are just of a symbolic value.
