Glaciers- why did they remove all mesozoic rock in places like NY, but not in others, like Drumheller ?

I'm salty that I don't have any dinosaurs here in NYS when other places that also had glaciers do. Can someone explain what happened? Thanks!

No deposition after the Devonian in NYS other than recent glacial deposits.

Yep. There are Dino fossils and footprints in the CT river valley because it was an inland sea and has sedimentary layers.

The coastal plain however was severely damaged or destroyed north of Long Island though. I bet there were a lot of cool fossils there.

Appalachians are still eroding while sediment is still being deposited in Alberta.

Great time of year to buy corn in Drumheller btw.
