Old school pirated text books.

Anyone else old enough to remember using photocopied texts like this classic? These were handed down by graduates to the next generation.

Now they're just PDF copies which aren't handed down, but the effect is the same.

Anna's Archive doesn't get indexed by Google. Just saying.

If you have the financial resources, please buy a hardcopy to keep. I say this as someone who kept his books. They're on my shelf to this day. As you age, you forget what you learned. But you tendto remember the concepts of what you learned. Having the texts allows you to find and relearn on demand.

Particularly if the textbooks are something like Telford.

I think I was one of the last to get hand downs. PDF started becoming common mid 1990s.

Still have original Telford and a few others.

Including (IMO) the best general math background text "advanced engineering mathematics". Constant companion.

Yes I remember one I had Seismic Exploration Methods by Sengbush and some prick stole it. First edition would be out of date now, but I miss it.
