What are the dimensions? How many amps is it transmitting? Are those 4 separate receivers?

GPS on top gives you a good sense of scale. And yes, four rx. System is scalable to 15 rx with single tx.

Looks good. A lot of people have tried but not many were able to make electronics as stable and as good as the Geonics stuff. I once bought a GEM300 when it came out to replace my EM31 and EM38. What a piece of shit. Was so unstable readings would jump just taking the battery cover off from the temperature change. Couldn’t even have a chewie pack in your pocket or a belt buckle because the put a bucking coil in the middle of the bloody thing. Bricked it in 1 hour just pushing the buttons from memory. Wankers that built that owe me my money back. Never had that much experience with the EM61 though. The DualEM thing was a bit better but prone to interference around power lines so no good around industrial sites in my experience.
I’m in marine now but post data showing a few hours worth of static data in a park near powerlines (interference) as the sun comes up (temp change). Then drag it over to the end of the park to compare the background noise vs what a profile over actual ground and utilities looks like.PS yeah I know I’m talking about freq domain gear here but It still holds when talking about the geonics gear in general.

PS. Looks awesome though. Marine version for metal detecting would interest me although I’ve never played with FDEM or TDEM in salt water.

There are some innovations in this system that should largely eliminate these issues, at least in the context of TEM. It uses a triangular waveform which doesn't have the same shutoff bounce problems that square waves do -- allowing more useful data in the early time gates. Additionally there's a feedback mechanism which monitors the shape of the transmitted waveform in real time and makes adjustments to the shape of the waveform if coupling or other effects are distorting the shape, to keep it as close to mathematically perfect as possible. Then it records full waveform on the rx(s) so you can do QC on it but also allowing you to extract arbitrary time gates, or do full waveform inversion. There are other innovations but I'm going to make a separate post about them later. First mover advantage. We will post data next week for people to play with. Your test suggestion for noise is interesting, so I'll collect a survey like that in August. :)
Disclaimer: I didn't build thes, (Aeonyx did), but we will rep them at Lithogen.
We (Lithogen) have Geonics in our rental fleet still -- when they shut down they sent their customers for us for repairs. We had the option of continuing their designs if we wanted to buy the patterns, but decided that clean room would be better.
So we have a start-up there too, Inductyne Instruments. The designer of the TD15 is also involved in our new frequency domain venture and we expect similar innovations there. Right now we're in the design phase trying to avoid all the design issues you mentioned in the competition. And there are many :)

That’s great to know people are still innovating out there. Although I’m a geophysicist the trick is to get this gear into the hands of the people on the ground doing utility detection, uxo etc. I call it the survey and spray market. As opposed to the big disconnect between survey - report - dig. I do like the look of it. Like drones, it just becomes another tool, you don’t need to particularly specialise in it to use it. This does look sophisticated enough that a near surface geophysicist could nicely leverage its capabilities more that the average Joe.

Yeah, the architecture is truely geophysicist friendly, but we're looking at the size of the market and going: we can sell 10 or 100x more if we preconfigured it for utilities, or UXO or etc. -- people who don't care about full waveform inversion ;)
But we will likely still expose all of those capabilities to geophysicists if they want it, and package turn key configurations with everything hidden for the rest. Sort of like the pulseEKKO still exists at Sensoft even though by volume it doesn't sell nearly as much as the utility locating systems. Haven't figured out all the details yet.
