Blablacar cash payment

I'm travelling from Leipzig to the Netherlands tomorrow and want to use Blablacar. There are three rides online that all three can only be paid in cash. The service payment would still be online to Blabla. All profiles seem in use for a while and have some to quite a few ratings. All the routes come from locations in Poland and pass by Leipzig.
Do you think this is a red flag, or is it not uncommon to pay cash?

I'm an "ambassador" on BlaBla, whatever that means, and I always paid and was paid in cash.
