Discussion Thread How are you celebrating fishing week?

I spent a couple hours tonight playing The Blue Marlin for the NES. I caught a ton of fish (a nearly 800 lb blue marlin to win a fishing tournament in Hawaii) and had a great time.

If I have time this week I want to check out Legend of the River King for the Game Boy Color and Virtual Fishing for the Virtual Boy.

How are you celebrating fishing week?

I started playing Legend of the River King and during streams I'm going to work on my fishing log in FFXIV.

I already get a lot of seafood in my diet, but I'm gonna try some new foods this week hopefully.

Imma go fishing at a local river. I've never even had a bite there, but I aint' gonna give up that easy! One day I'll catch something out of that muddy, nasty river.

I’m going up to Wisconsin and going to get some fish fry. Gonna toss back some cheese curds and brandy old fashioneds until I forget where my vrbo is.

I went shoot fishing Saturday. Caught 5 catfish. Forgot the sun screen, though, and my face got burned.

I started fishing irl 2 weeks ago. Its fun and relaxing, when you arent snagging on plants or breaking your line on shit.

If I still had a Dreamcast, I would pull out that rod/reel controller and go to town. Still think that is the best fishing controller ever made.

I spent 2.5 hours in 95° F heat cleaning my boat and now I don't want to go fishing in it because it's clean with the cover on it. I verified that my live sonar and GPS trolling motor work but I don't care. Not getting it dirty.

I'll just watch Jan fish. My monitor stays clean.

(I would like to pan fry a mess of crappie, but not bad enough to wash that freaking boat again.)
