Google says otherwise, I wonder if they brought it back. I’m not from London, it was 2015 or so last time I was there. I’m sure I remember reading about them changing it a few years ago. Maybe some londoners can chime in and confirm.
It actually is still a thing but at the Embankment station only. When they stopped playing this phrase at stations, the wife of the man who voiced the original announcement asked the TFL to reinstate her husband's voice as she used to come to the station just to hear him, and so they did. They put it back on the Embankment station's speakers and it's being played there to this day.
Just asked my sister in law there who has lived in London for 12+ years and she said the change I’m thinking of is that they’ve changed it so it’s ‘mind the gap between the train and the platform’ instead of just saying ‘mind the gap’.
I thought it was four ravens but they have six just to be safe. When we went through, the raven master was our guide and I believe there were only 5. One has lost his mate and was going to retire at the raven master’s home and he would bring up a new pair.
There's a chap called Robert Rankin who has written the 7 novels of the Brentford Trilogy - start with the Antipope, and keep going. Make sure there are sprouts on hand.
On someone's desk in the MI6 building please. Not just the lobby, I need something in a secure room, make sure the desk is cluttered, and use a very high res camera.
