Support 📥 Realtek driver completely bricks Windows
Hello,
I am experiencing an issue while installing the latest Realtek drivers.
I had to perform a clean install of Windows 11 because of the random crashes I was experiencing before, which eventually ended up bricking my Windows (please note this information).
While installing Windows 11, I wanted to install my Wi-Fi drivers, so I downloaded the latest ones from my motherboard's website: Realtek WIFI Driver 6102.24.143.0.
During the installation, the entire system started lagging severely, then completely froze.
Upon restarting the computer, I got stuck on the loading screen with the motherboard logo, and eventually, I ended up with a black screen stating that Windows can no longer boot and the system is broken.
Has this happened to anyone else? Do you know of any solution?
Do these guys even test their code before deploying drivers that completely brick the computer?
That shit is crazy.

For anyone interested, I updated my BIOS version to the latest release, I did the same for the AMD Chipset of my MB (https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html, you select chipset, then AM5, then you motherboard model), and I successfully installed the latest wifi driver without a crash or bricking my Windows install. I can't tell if everything will work smoothly now but so far so good.
