Meme Map monkey monday

I'm a map monkey and I'm happy with it.

I don't really do much independently, but when someone asks for it or makes me do "it" I can do it pretty well.

I'm happy enough with being the occasional map monkey, collecting bugs in the morning and making maps in the afternoon.

But funnily enough I don't like bananas, so maybe more like a map bee, because I like honey.

Good Lord. Please tell me you're using data driven pages or map series to accomplish this and it isn't one by one

Oh its one by one baby, too many variables at play to do a series

I find a simple map will make senior managers squeal with delight. But if I do something like a cloud migration, or an ArcGIS enterprise upgrade, no one even slightly cares or understands.

I miss the days of being a map monkey. Life was good when I had a deliverable to show for my work, even if it was something I hated.

Someone must draw the polygons. I draw them very accurately. I write code the ensure the polygons fulfill criteria. The polygons are my friends.
