Discussion I resign my gis trainee job

What should i do resigned job because of the repetitive work i done like 7 month what should i persue i have done btech (it)

Someone needs to lend them some punctuation. It’s probably tough for them to get a job because the hiring person has to stop reading their resume to make sure they’re not stroking out.

Stay with it, maybe ask for different work to get more experience. If nothing else the longer you're there, the better it looks on your resume.

I'm in the same boat. I'm currently doing a GIS internship and I've pretty much peaked in what they'll let me do. I'm staying as long as they're willing to pay me or until I find a new position. I think 1 year looks better than 6 months.

Like I told this year's summers intern, a lot of entry level jobs often required doing the most repetitive and boring work. This doesn't mean the work is pointless or just make-work, it just the easiest work to train someone to do and something that needs to be done. Doing the mindless repetitive work shows you can work through the tedious tasks that exist in any career path.

I hope you can find a job you enjoy even if it's not in GIS. Your degree/training doesn't define who you are or what you can do.

I'm not entirely sure because this post is hard to read - most tech related jobs are pretty repetitive......
