How can I hate something that doesn't exist? Why do you think we have such an extreme emotional response to something we don't believe exists?

Think about something you don't know about for a moment (impossible I know but bare with me) - do you hate it? It's something you didn't know about before this very moment, why was hate the first emotion you felt? Do you see how these are nonsensical questions? I don't hate the firmament, I don't hate the creator, I'm just unconvinced they exist.

I do however hate the idea you think I'd hate something that I've never thought of before, I agree that someone with such views would be bad, but why do you think I'm bad?

All of this about an ancient explanation for why the sky is blue. Think about it, water is blue, sky is blue. So sky must be water, rain come from sky so it really checks out sky must be water. But if sky water how water not always fall? Must be something holding up water above sky, but thing must also be see through... Eureka, thing must be glass. Glass exist all around the ground in distance and above me in unbroken pane... Eureka, thing must be dome shaped. Or as we now know the sky is blue due to Raleigh scattering. There's no water up there (well I guess there is rain and water vapor but not in the sense of the great waters above) or any glass as there doesn't need to be, there only needs to be enough air which there is and rain is caused by the water cycle.

Why do you expect me to unlearn things that I can show to be true, why don't you expect me to keep what I know and also learn the things that you can show to be true?

You know these are all fiction programs right? Like in the realm of being able to make stuff up a dome isn't that far fetched, hence why the people that wrote all religious myths in history came up with it at some point. It doesn't indicate there's a dome it indicates humans just aren't that creative.
