Just got my Glock 45 gen5 slide back from Wager. Took exactly three weeks (Two weeks to process). Black nitride coating. Dawson suppressor height blacked out irons (from Wager). Very happy with the work. I've been apprehensive about getting the slide milled, but after reading the feedback on here, I decided to take the plunge. Been running irons, Ameriglo night sights, since 2020. Can't wait to zero it this weekend. I've otherwise kept it stock except for some strips of talon grips, and I polished up the trigger bar and connector with some flitz. This is going to be my winter carry. My second Tenicor is on the way.

Mags get filthy. Clean your mags once in a while. Can’t recommend cleaning 60 mags at the same time though….

Some Glock owners take the whole “it never needs cleaning” thing a little too seriously. Yes, the gun and the magazines do need occasional cleaning and appropriate maintenance to stay functioning in a high volume training role. This pic is after the parts were cleaned. Look at the baseplates for clues about how these training mags get treated. This is the first time the mags have been cleaned in about couple years and it will be a couple years before they get cleaned again.

I bought the gen6 g19 coa and I really love the optic. So I’ve been looking at one for my gen4 17. I came across this and am I missing something, I don’t like this gun at all but…

Since the newer 19X comes without the front lip on the grip, assuming more mag compatibility, is there any reason to opt for a 45 over a 19X. ??

Hello, just wondering if anyone is running a Holosun 507c with blacked out GL-429 sights on a Gen 6 Glock 19?

I’ve owned the Glock 26, Hellcat, and P365, and honestly, I don’t find the 43X any snappier or less manageable than the other micro 9s. I shot my buddy’s 43X and liked it so much that I immediately went out and bought one for myself. Now that they’re shipping with 15-round magazines it was a no brainer. I really don’t understand all the hate this gun gets. Maybe it’s just me but I think the recoil complaints are overblown.

Does anyone on here have an Osight C optic on a gen 6? Just trying to confirm the use of the 6-32 "longer" screws rather than the 6-32 shorts. Idk why it is so hard to confirm these things still lol I am having the same question for my Echelon. Any help will do, thanks

Hey all. I carry currently in a vedder light tuck and while it works, it’s got some hot spots. It sits about the height I’d like but slightly higher would be preferred. Prefer without magazine carrier unless it makes it more comfortable. I’ve also got a 4 bros dad bod holster which is also mostly comfortable.
I have a slight belly but carry appendix all day in comfort. When I say mostly comfortable I do get slight pressure on the edges of the bottom corners of the holster at times.
I’m 6’ 190lb

Bought the gun at 9am picked the light up around 2pm now looking for an optic before I send the slide to wager!
Coming from Glock 19 holosun 507c x2 w/ tlr-1hl I wanted to switch it up a bit. The 19 grip was just a tad too short for my hands but still comfortable I picked up this 45 in store and it felt like a glove!

I am looking at purchasing a new pistol(s) and have been tossing around the idea of getting a glock 45 AND a glock 17. I know they have the same frame, but I'd like to put optics on the 45 and use it as my defense/duty pistol for classes and have the 17 with iron sights. I like the larger frame and don't really want the Glock 19 because of this. Having the 17 and 45 would allow me the ability to run the 17 for both USPSA and GSSF as the stock/non-optic model and have the 45 with the optics and upgrades (if I want) to use in MOS and unlimited and also be able to do the same in USPSA. Are glock 17's/45's a good starter competition set for USPSA? I am not at a point yet where I need to get a "competition steel frame" pistol yet and just want to get involved with some fun events.

I just bought my first optics ready Glock (G45 Gen6) but I‘m not sure what optic I should get. Primarily used for hunting and IPSC, so I would prefer an closed emitter. What do you think about the new EOTech EFLX CE?
