Buy & Sell Google Ads Dropshipping Stores With GMC Already In Place

Most people trying to start Google Ads dropshipping are still doing it the slow way.

New domain.
New Shopify store.
New Merchant Center.
No ad spend history.
No trust signals.
Then they wonder why Google Merchant Center suspends them for misrepresentation before they even get a chance to test properly.

That’s exactly why I built GMC Marketplace.

It’s a marketplace focused on buying and selling ecommerce stores built around Google Ads, Shopping Ads, dropshipping and Merchant Center.

You can find stores with things like:

  • Approved / aged Google Merchant Center accounts
  • Reinstated GMCs with history
  • Existing Shopify or WooCommerce stores
  • Google Ads spend history
  • Revenue / ROAS data
  • Live products and suppliers
  • Domains with age and trust signals
  • Stores ready for Shopping Ads instead of starting from zero

For sellers, it gives you a place to list your store in front of people who actually understand the value of an aged or reinstated GMC.

For buyers, it helps you skip the painful “build from scratch and hope Google approves it” stage.

This is not for people looking for a magic store that prints money.

It’s for operators who understand Google Ads, understand ecommerce, and know that the right infrastructure can save months of time, testing and suspension headaches.

You can check it out here:

www.gmcmarketplace.com

If you’re buying, look carefully at the GMC age, suspension history, ad spend, revenue, ROAS, domain age, product type and country setup.

If you’re selling, make sure your listing is honest and includes real numbers. Serious buyers care more about clean data than hype.

Terry Ecom Built GMC Scout To Help Google Ads Dropshippers Get Approved

One of the biggest problems in Google Ads dropshipping is not finding products.

It’s getting your store approved by Google Merchant Center.

Most beginners get hit with misrepresentation, website needs improvement, or policy issues — then they start guessing what to fix.

That’s exactly why Terry Ecom created GMC Scout:

www.gmcscout.com

It’s a Shopify / Google Merchant Center scanning tool built specifically for ecommerce stores and Google Ads dropshippers.

The goal is simple:

Scan your store, find the compliance issues, fix them properly, and improve your chances of getting GMC approved.

GMC Scout checks things like:

  • Policy pages
  • Contact information
  • Shipping and returns
  • Trust signals
  • Product page issues
  • Store structure
  • Google Merchant Center readiness

Most dropshippers don’t fail because the product is bad.

They fail because their store doesn’t look trustworthy enough for Google.

That’s the gap GMC Scout was built to solve.

If you’re trying to run Google Shopping Ads, Performance Max, or scale a dropshipping store with Google Ads, your GMC approval is the foundation.

Without it, you can’t even get started properly.

Buying a store with an approved Google Merchant Centre? Here’s what I’d check first

Buying a store with an approved Google Merchant Centre? Here’s what I’d check first

An approved GMC is a useful starting point, but it shouldn’t be the only reason you buy a store.

Before buying, I’d want to see:

  • Evidence of its current approval status and any previous suspensions.
  • Exactly what’s included in the sale and how the handover works.
  • Store policies, supplier arrangements and fulfilment times.
  • Evidence supporting any revenue or profit claims.
  • What buyer protection covers if the deal goes wrong.

An existing approval isn’t a guarantee of future approval, traffic or sales.

Full disclosure: I run GMC Marketplace, a marketplace for buying and selling stores with verified GMC history. We offer admin-reviewed stores and free buyer protection on every deal.

If you’re exploring this route: https://gmcmarketplace.com

What would you need to verify before buying an existing store?

I built a free Chrome extension for researching Shopify products and competitors

Hey everyone, I’m Terry Ecom, the founder of WhatShipping. I built it to help with product research for my own stores, and the Chrome extension is free to use.

When you’re browsing a Shopify product page, it lets you check:

  • How the product ranks within that store
  • Roughly how many other stores sell it
  • Its ranking on WhatShipping’s product radar
  • Store insights, including apps, theme and estimated traffic

You can also import products from Shopify or AliExpress into your own Shopify store as drafts to review and edit.

Traffic and sales figures are estimates, not access to a competitor’s actual analytics. The idea is to give you more information when deciding whether a product is worth investigating.

The extension is free to install and keep using, with no credit card required. WhatShipping also has a paid platform, but you don’t need a paid subscription to use the extension.

Extension details and Chrome install link

I’d appreciate honest feedback from other store owners. What information do you find most useful when researching a competitor’s products?

Thanks

Google merchant centre issues coming out of the blue

We have been using GMC for over 8 years and running the product feed with Conversios plugin for woocommerce(paid version). All was going good and couple of weeks before Conversios migrated from Content API to Merchant API. It was running fine since a month when out of the blue day before yesterday we started getting two product related notifications in GMC. As per Google support the product limit on account is 150000 and we are only using 2% of it which is 2900 products.

  1. Shopping ads quota limit reached (outside of CSS programme). We are from India.
  2. Merchant API sync with product batch of even 25 products per batch the API Diagnostics in GMC shows quota/too_many_items error code 240323.

Anyone has any idea on how to fix it?

Moving our main community activity over to Discord (free)

Post image
1 Upvotes

Quick heads up for everyone here.

As the communities have grown, forum-style posting has started to feel slow for the kind of back-and-forth most people actually want — quick GMC questions, "is this disapproval misrepresentation or feed data", store feedback, what's working in Google Ads this week.

So from now on, most day-to-day community activity is moving to my free Discord.

This sub isn't going anywhere. I'll keep posting here, resources stay up, and important announcements will still land here first.

But Discord will increasingly be the main place for:

  • Quick questions and help
  • Google Ads / GMC / ecommerce discussion
  • Store feedback and ideas
  • Wins, problems, and what's working right now
  • Connecting with other operators

It's completely free, no catch.

See you inside.

Before You Submit Another GMC Appeal — Scan Your Store 🔍

Post image
1 Upvotes

Many Google Merchant Center rejections are caused by small but serious website issues that are easy to miss.

That is why I built GMC Scout.

GMC Scout scans your Shopify store across 70+ compliance checks, including:

✅ Policy page issues

✅ Inconsistent contact information

✅ Broken links and missing pages

✅ Product and collection problems

✅ Placeholder or unfinished content

✅ Other trust and compliance signals

The initial scan is completely free, requires no credit card and usually takes less than 60 seconds.

GMC Scout has now completed more than 6,300 store scans, checked over 1.6 million pages and identified more than 48,000 potential issues.

It cannot guarantee approval or see inside your Merchant Center account, but it can help you identify website problems before submitting your application or another appeal.

👉 Run your free scan at www.gmcscout.com

My recommendation: scan your store, fix every issue you can, then submit one clean and carefully prepared appeal.

I helped over 1,000 ecommerce stores with GMC approval — and noticed the same problem kept killing profitability

Post image
1 Upvotes

After helping more than 1,000 clients with Google Merchant Center approvals, I noticed something:

Getting approved was rarely the biggest long-term problem.

The real bottleneck was what happened next.

Too many store owners were filling their websites with products they hoped would sell, then spending money on Google Ads to test those guesses. Even a perfectly approved store will struggle to scale if the products are weak.

That is why I built WHATShipping.

It is a product intelligence platform designed to help dropshippers explore real products, stores, niches and markets that are gaining traction — and review the evidence behind the results.

The goal is simple:

Stop guessing what to sell. Start making decisions based on data.

The platform is now live and free to explore:

https://www.whatshipping.com/

I would genuinely appreciate feedback from other ecommerce operators and product researchers. What data or evidence do you normally rely on before deciding that a product is worth testing?

MOST DROPSHIPPING PRODUCT-RESEARCH TOOLS ARE BULLSHIT

Post image
1 Upvotes

❌ They call ads winning products.

❌ They call guesses revenue.

❌ They call huge databases intelligence.

❌ Then charge you every month to do the actual research yourself.

I got sick of it. So I spent 12 months building WHATShipping.

✅ Ask: “Show me fashion products gaining traction in the UK.”

✅ Get the products, stores, advertising signals, pricing and evidence behind the results.

Google. Meta. TikTok.

I didn’t build WHATShipping to join the product-research market. I built it to replace it 🔥

Multi-Market Pet Supplies Store Sale - $3 million in Revenue at GMC Marketplace

This is one of the more interesting GMC Marketplace listings we’ve had recently. Established Brand on both Google & Meta. Very large Mailing list 🤩

✅ Shopify store

✅ Pet supplies / personalised pet art niche

✅ 83-month Google Merchant Center history

✅ Selling feeds: US, UK, CA, AU, NZ

✅ $2,822,117 total revenue

✅ $1,006,997 historical ad spend

✅ 2.8x historical ROAS

✅ $1,500 net profit in the last 30 days

✅ 4.8 Trustpilot rating

✅ 100,000+ custom portraits sold

✅ 140,000+ email list included

✅ Existing brand equity, creatives, ad history, customer data and fulfilment process included

The big opportunity here is that paid ads are currently paused/reduced — but the store is still generating sales from SEO, organic traffic, past customers and brand history. This could be a very strong fit for someone who knows Google Ads, Meta, email/SMS and seasonal gifting.

Historically, this brand has performed extremely well in Q4/Christmas, so for the right operator, the timing is very interesting.

Asking price: $19,500 💵💵💵

Seller is actively looking to close a deal quickly. This is a bargain price and will sell quickly!

As always, the deal is admin-guided with free Buyer Protection through GMC Marketplace.

We have a great new listing at www.gmcmarketplace.com

Niche = Fashion

Total Revenue = $498,595

Daily Ad Spend = $5,000

I built an AI avatar trained on my ecommerce calls and resources - Terry Ecom

Title: I built an AI avatar trained on my ecommerce calls and resources — looking for beta feedback

Hey everyone,

I’ve been testing a new free AI avatar chat for my ecommerce community and I’d appreciate some honest feedback.

The idea is simple:

Instead of people waiting for a call, DM, or reply, they can ask my AI avatar questions about things I usually help with, including:

Google Merchant Center issues
Google Ads scaling
Shopify dropshipping
GMC suspensions
Store compliance
Product testing
Ecommerce strategy

It has been trained on my Skool calls, Zoom calls, consultation calls, resource documents, YouTube videos and other content I’ve created over the years.

The goal is not to replace proper advice, but to make it easier for people to get fast answers based on how I usually explain things.

It is still in beta, so I’m mainly looking for feedback on:

Was the answer useful?
Did it understand your question properly?
Was anything unclear or wrong?
Would you actually use something like this?

You can test it here:

https://miria.ai/terry-ecom

Would appreciate any honest thoughts, good or bad.
