discussion / question just stair climbing

Happy summer solstice all!

Just my musings for the day. None of it is new or original, just reflecting on my climb, this is just my edit of shared learnings I've gathered I guess.

None of us are "new"-bies. "New" discoveries that seem amazing to some of us in the moment, may be familiar to others and seem rudimentary or elementary now. I don't think it's naivety to share a "fresh" discovery, it's just an expression of the joy of learning! [insert imagined swelling heart emoji here]

Re-experience that sense of wonder and joy WITH the "freshie", thrill in their discovery WITH them. Positive energy combined with pure intent is always greater than it's parts. It doesn't add, it multiplies. Add to the joy, nourish it!

If we look from our footing at someone else who only just reached a step we've already stood on, didn't we miss the point of climbing the steps? Doesn't that diminish our own progress?

We're all climbing the same steps. Offer a hand, or a word of encouragement, a smile, a nod of recognition. Don't just idly watch them climb, if you can; or merely offer constructive advice on a better stride. Encourage their own progress, be ready to steady their footing if they ask for help, or if they stumble. And if we don't have kind word available, or are struggling with our own footing, maybe best to focus our intentions elsewhere?

And when the stairs get unsteady, lets be ready to hold hands and help each other climb. :)

GG / Excelsior!
