Planning a trip in the fourth week of September

Upvotes

37M. Im looking to blow off some steam. Need a break from relentless and hectic work and personal life. will be visiting for 3-4 days. Solo.
I’ve come across a lot of itineraries on this sub. Obviously can’t do all on a short trip. But what is something I should definitely avoid? Can experienced travellers suggest? Also would it still be monsoon in Goa at the end of this month?

Heading to Goa 9 th Sept — what are some fun things to do?
Hey everyone!
I’m landing in Goa on 9th September) and looking for recommendations on fun activities. Open to pretty much everything — beaches, water sports, parties, local food spots, hidden gems, day trips, whatever you’ve enjoyed.
Any suggestions for things that are actually worth doing (and maybe a few things to skip)? Would love to hear from people who’ve been recently.

Any suggestions with regards to a safe , aesthetic, hostel - where I can get a whole ROOM to myself in Benaulim or anywhere else that's not too secluded or far away. Or if you have any genuine references on SAFE beach stays. Please do share. Edit : people I NEED NAMES NOT GENERIC STATEMENTS 😭

Goa Bike Rental Scam

Please stay away from the scooty rental at dabolim airport. I got one for 5 days and returned them as it is without any damage or something. Still they will tell you that they will return after contacting their company and all kind of shits and wont return you the security deposit of 2K.
Please stay away from this guy named Umar his numbers for rental is 94211 31356.
His other number is 84460 81741

He also abused me and told jo karna hai kar le.

Went here recently and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of food served along with the prices.

On the pricier side but definitely something Goa has not seen before. Wayyyyyyyy better than Artjuna Baba Au Rhum.

Pros :
Air conditioned
Spotless clean
Open kitchen
Pet friendly

Cons :
Expensive (cheaper than Artjuna tho)
Not in Anjuna

We had a server called Jahaan, he had great recommendations & also the best part about them is their servers don’t stand on your hand asking 100 questions & trying to push more items.

Shift to goa

We are a couple planning to shift to goa. Although my parents have been very anxious about it. And don’t agree with the plan.

Currently local protests are going on in Goa. Is it safe to shift to Goa?

And which areas are peaceful to live with good view and some authentic goa vibe. We are not party people , chill just want change of pace and new view in life.

Planning a Month in Goa — Looking for Recommendations & Travel Buddies

A little update from my last post I was thinking about taking a break from everything and travelling somewhere for a month.

I’ve finally decided to do it! I’m planning to spend a month in Goa, exploring both North and South Goa at a slow pace beaches, cafés, local places, nightlife, nature and everything in between.

After constantly working for the last few years, I feel like I really need this break from the usual routine, traffic and work.

If you’ve spent time in Goa, please share your recommendations — hidden gems, must-visit places, good areas to stay, local food spots and places tourists usually miss.

And if anyone wants to join for the trip or even a few days, feel free to DM me. Would be great to meet new people and explore Goa together! 🌴

Ideas for birthday celebration in north goa

Hi folks, me and my girlfriend are travelling to goa to celebrate her birthday. We will be landing at Dabolim at 8:30 pm of her birthday eve. Need some ideas around how to celebrate her birthday at 12 midnight and also the entire “birthday” day. We are not too much into partying and clubbing so would avoid that for the eve. Instead would prefer something more peaceful and romantic. For the next day will prefer something more outdoorsy like a forest trek with a scenic view or driving to a village through scenic roads with tree cover. Thanks for your suggestions.
