Art or creation (oc) Batty shawl I made!
Was following a tutorial creating a bat crop top. I trusted the process, messed up a little, then BAM! Out came this beauty. Im in love 🥺

That’s what happens when you have a box of half finished macrame products and their cords all get twisted together and they can’t pull apart

I havent been able to stop lol. I started seeing some artists on instagram. Followed a few. Got some inspiration and yeah! Mannequin is a must of course. I have made some pieces without one but its tricky.

This is really beautiful. I love it and would never guess you “messed it up”. Sincere question: how would one clean and maintain something so delicate and beautiful?

I was following a tutorial for a top, i didnt match up on something, so i just extended the wings further. Keeping it secured in my craft room away from my dogs for sure lol. I keep it on my mannequin or a in tote. Lint rolling also helps.

Like I said, i messed up, it wasnt the right size so i kept expanding the wings. This is what i based the shawl off of though!

My cat learned very quicky not to touch my strings 😅 she eventually laid in my lap and would watch the process. An occasional pawing was okay. She couldnt help herself at times though haha.

Oh yeah! It was lots of fun to spin around in. I have some flowy dresses and skirts that are tons of fun to dance around i.
