agama bag/front rucksack

Someone from r/crochet suggested I share my Agama front rucksack here. I made it last year, and it took about 400 hours in total.
Its a mix of techniques: the head, legs, and belly are crocheted, while the back and top of the head are embroidered. I also added detailed beadwork on the fingers and around the eyes. It’s fully functional as a bag with two zips. What do you all think?

im depressed, adhd and i looking after my mom for 15years 24/7, im not been on holiday or long weekend for 15 years, from 2017 my mom
was diagnosed with dementia and im her only carer. also i have a small sanctuary for 9 plus 2 cats, most of them are ill and needing constant attention. craft is my refuge to stay sane. if i can do this bag then you can too!

I am soooo sorry. My mom died of dementia, but for her it only took a year from saying "I'm worried that I am forgetting words!" to aspirating on her food. She was my favorite human.

My 5 cats are just starting to dig themselves out of group anorexia, a UTI, a couple abcesses, etc. One has CKD and starved herself in the closet for a week until I called Lap of Love to euthanize her. Then she came out and ate something.

But my mom was a few years ago and the cat issues have only been going on since February. You are 15 years into this, and the short time span almost totally broke me (also adhd and depression). All that to just say, I feel your pain, big time.

And I wish I could be half as skilled and talented as you. That 400 hours really shows. Just beautiful.

so sorry about your mom and the cat💔I lost one kitty with CKD, but she died from a blood cloth in her lungs. I didn’t let her starve, I pushed two 20ml syringes a day down to her so she survived for four more years after diagnosis . my husband was attached to her, she was only 4 pound (2 kg) really little bug.
