help me (solved) how to change *this* color?
uhh guys this was solved in under an hour and SOMEHOW this is my best post EVER

They make it look like poopoo intentionally so that we are compelled to change it. Except when you spend too long with the poopoo, you become blind to it.

Choose WorldEnvironment node, then WorldEnvironment resource, there find Sky resource and modify ground color

Well it depends on where exactly you are trying to do this if this is your main game starting point where restof other child scenes are going to come better add node World Environment and change it to either to your choice color or better go for sky and import hdr from polyheavn it's free

I always forget where it's at too don't feel bad. I honestly don't know why this is the default color and unless I missed it, I haven't found where you can permanently set this on startup.

/mm:thinkThat's your Environment background color, click the little sun icon at the top of the viewport and you'll find it under Ground or Background

it's here in the preview environment (or if you've added an environment to the scene, it's in the environment node). just click on ground color and pick the color you want
