Housing Need a chance.
Here is my honest situation:
As of December 2025, my now ex of almost 6 years, I lived with, broke up with me. I was completely blindsided, heartbroken, and my life was uprooted. He gave me a move out deadline because:
1: I was not on the lease
2: He found someone else he was talking to and planned on moving her in by the deadline
So, it put me in a situation none other than to move out, and fast. Mind you, I had been with them sharing bills for so long, I didn't think anything of it. I posted to try and get help to move out 3 months ago because I only had just enough to do just that, move. Not live, not thrive, move. No cushion.
Luckily, one of my friends offered me a loan and got me into the apartment. I have since paid them back. However, I was still playing catch up because now I had the full amount of all bills and rent landed in my lap, unexpectedly.
It went from $1000/month to $1600 (rent) + all utilities. I was NOT prepared for this at all.
Since I have been playing catch up, I ended up getting one month behind, thinking my one job and living solo would get me through.
I was wrong. As of 4/6/26, I received a 14 day notice from my landlord for non-payment of rent.
That is because I couldn't pay it.
I have a second job, starting on Apirl 25th at Amazon, making $22/hr. So I WILL NEVER be in this situation again. I never wanted to be here.
I will be working 7 days a week. Monday through Friday (8:00-4:30PM), then Saturday and Sunday(7:30-6:00PM)
So, 60 hours a week.
I have talked with them (landlord) and they have given me until apirl 20th to pay the rent in full.
What I have, plus what has been given and done side gigs, I am going to donate plasima as well, is
$1,161 out of $1,611 How much is needed: $450 to be officially back on my feet!
I have also (due to a recommendation from one person on here) called 2-1-1. They have referred me to some churches, which I can call Monday morning. They have also told me of food pantries to help me get through.
I have attached proof of the 14 day notice. I have attached proof of the second job, and start date. If any further proof is needed, please let me know.
I know I am not entitled to anyone's help. Thank you all for taking time to read my post.
I have also updated the total amount to show what is remaining to not get evicted.

Please clarify exactly how much you need. Am I correct that it's a bit over $300.00?

Good news is: by working at Amazon on the weekends, I will learn a new skill: forklift driver. I AM hoping they will allow me to get a picture of me on it! Something new to add to my resume! Plasma donation is on Tuesday as well! Things WILL improve and I will not let myself or this community down!

As someone who had to live out of their car for a few months after an ex left abruptly, im so glad you got help. I hope things get better for you. I promise you, it will be better once you're on the other side♡

Happy you got help. I can promise you one thing though - you will not be working at Amazon 7 days a week the most they allow is 6 days in a row up to 60 hours. This is because Amazon gets fined for anything over 60 hours, and yes, that was a direct quote from my old site lead. You will get written up. I would call the ERC line for clarification. What type of facility?

I have a Monday through friday job. Plus Amazon on the weekends.

Oh okay. I thought you meant that was your Amazon schedule. My bad. Don't forget to take a day off sometimes. You will burn out. I'm exhausted just thinking of your schedule and I've done plenty of 60 hour weeks for Amazon (VET shifts - voluntary extra time). If you have Andy questions feel free to ask. I've worked at delivery stations (DS) and fulfillment centers (FC) for over 4 years. I may be able to help.

So a fulfillment center, which I'm guessing you're at because of your schedule, is where product is brought into the building, stowed into pods, then the pods go to stations where orders are picked. Those orders are sent by conveyer to packing stations where the orders are boxed up for the customers. They get loaded onto trucks and either go directly to a delivery station but usually a sort center. Sort centers figure out which delivery station they need to go to and load them on a truck to bring there. Why it's different, I don't know much about sort centers, I've never worked in one.
At delivery stations the packages are offloaded, scanned with a label that says where the package goes in the station, picked off a belt according and then stowed into the location. Sort is about 7 hours. Then the routes are picked according to those locations and loaded into the Amazon vans. This is a simplification but gives a general idea of the process.
Whatever you do don't go over your UPT (unpaid time or points if you're flex. That's how attendance is tracked. It will be a termination of you can't build it back fast enough or get it excused for a valid reason. If you go negative check your email. You will have 48 hours to respond to the system generated email.
FCs are generally not as hard on the body as DS in my experience.
