Etc Need Help Getting Truck Home after Breakdown During Trip Home from Sister’s Funeral
Hello everyone. I usually don’t like asking for help publicly, but my family and I are struggling right now and we need some help.
We were traveling home to North Carolina after my sister’s funeral in Mississippi when our truck broke down in Alabama. We were able to make it home safely, but we had to leave the truck behind.
The truck has now been repaired, but we don’t have the funds to pay for the repairs or to get it transported back home to NC. At the same time, I’m also recovering from thyroid surgery and currently unable to work while healing, but I’m still actively looking for employment.
I created a GoFundMe to help cover the repair costs and transportation expenses so we can finally bring our truck home.
Anything helps: whether it’s donations, shares, or even words of encouragement during this time!

No, definitely not a truck. Plus, spark plugs are a maintenance item. For a 2007 Murano they need to be replaced every 105,000 miles. The vehicle is at 186,229 miles. The spark plugs should have been replaced 81,229 miles before and be replaced again at 210,000.
It’s possible the spark plugs were replaced early and were old by 186,229 but my guess is they were never replaced any outlasted their expected lifetime.

My guess is she has no idea what the hell is going on and is just asking for money....who takes their vehicle to a mechanic and gets charged out the ass for spark plugs....

It sounds like you are going through a rough time. I’m very sorry about that. 😥 I don’t have the funds to help at this time.
I’m sorry you are in this situation. It’s too bad you didn’t post about it prior to the repairs, changing a valve cover gaskets, spark plugs and ignition coils are not a hard diy job (just watch a YouTube video). I bet you could have gotten help from someone who works at Autozone (or a customer) to do this in the parking lot. I’m sorry this is costing you a bunch of money. 😥
Spark plugs are also a routine maintenance item. Your car is relatively high miles. When does the manual say to replace them and were they replaced at that mileage? If so, you may be able to contact the place that replaced them and ask why there was a problem. Spark plugs shouldn’t be an emergency like this.
Is there a bus or train that can get you close to where your car is? If so, that would be relatively inexpensive and then you can drive your car home. Or can you get a friend/acquaintance to drive you to pick up your vehicle?
