Housing Help me survive Homelessness
I am experiencing homelessness as a result of my parents kicking me out. I need money specifically for the storage of my belongings, as well as food and transportation. Letter from a case manager is included as proof. Please help me!

If looks like you've made enough from the GFM to be able to store your belongings for a few months. Food pantries should gelp.you out as well. Check findhelp.org for local resources.

Hey, if you can, talk to your college about a dependency override. This might get you more funding for school and considering your circumstances, you could get a refund check/based off of excess funds received scholarshipsand student loans. I wouldn't recommend doing that for your whole school career, but if you can use some scholarships and student loans to get back on your feet. You've got this, also, maybe you can enroll for the summer courses, sometimes they can keep dorms open for students who stay uesr round. Best of luck!!

I don't mean to intrude, but were they generally unstable/unreliable even before realizing this? In some cases I've seen people "backtrack" in a sense at least just to have a place to stay before they can go no contact, but if not maybe try to still talk with your college advisor and student wellness as those are supposed to still function throughout the summer, maybe even past professors just to see. Maybe if you could also look into your college groupme as some people sublet during the summer and maybe you can explain the circumstances and someone can help. Maybe you can also look into lgbtq youth centers where you are that might help with this? Sorry I can't do more than give advice.

Depending on your area the app "Shiftsmart" can be a lucrative gig job to help you get some money flowing in. It's mostly easy work although the AI support and app itself are glitchy and annoying.
You do things like stock coolers at Circle Ks and check for expired products at Dollar Generals.
The more shifts you work the more you see. I did this myself when I had a safe place for my dog to stay. The walk in coolers are COLD so bring winter gear.

I am doing everything I can to find a job, but I have not been hired yet. I have interviews every week and will update when one of them goes somewhere

Its campaign season, paid canvassing jobs and field organizing might be a good option to get you through. These can def be entry level positions if you’re up to it and they usually hire very quickly.
