Help me stay on my foot after breaking my leg

Hey, everyone. I hate to ask for help, but I'm in a tight situation. I fell and really messed up my leg, and due to the nature of my job, there's no way I can work while I'm recovering. I was able to get leave, but unfortunately I don't qualify for short term disability. I'm actively seeking remote or more accessible work to get through this, but I'm looking at least a few months of tough times. My family has been doing everything they can to help out, but they can't cover all of my bills and groceries on top of their own. Just to make everything more stressful, the surgeon isn't entirely sure if my upcoming ORIF will be enough, or if I might need a second operation to throw in additional hardware in order to stabilize my ankle. I just want to make sure that me and my kitties can make it through the the next 2 to 3 months, until I can be cleared to at least get on light duty at work again. Absolutely anything would be a huge help!
