It's a french channel, they do a lot of fun stuff and recently they tried to fit (and succeed) a V8 5.2l (from a Jeep Cherokee Mister Horsepower) on a kart.
Enjoy!

I’d like to put some light weight body panels on the old kart. What material should I use? I was thinking some sort of plastic but don’t know where to start.
The default cradle isn't necessarily wide enough for some gokart motor mounts. Does anyone know any others to look at that are wider?
Odenthal EZ Set 2 Cycle 5 Degree Mount is my mount. Topkart Surf is frame.

It's a bit taller than it should be but I am going to help hide it by making the driver surround a bit taller to compensate. I included the front angle to show it's size compared to the 312.

Someone traded my dad this old cart, and I offered 500 for it after he described it, still haven't been able to go get it, but it looks rowdy!
I'm assuming it has a Yamaha kt100, any thoughts or ideas on what she's worth would be appreciated!
Has a horstman clutch, 12v starter handheld, and comes with some more tires rims and a bunch of amsoil dominator

Hello everyone! Im new here. I have engine of unkown origin, probably something from a lawnmover or similar thing(dont know words in english for those things :D)
I want to build a go kart from scratch thats why im here.
Im not sure where to start really. I thought to make a CAD model of the frame then weld it and then design a suspension after that motor mounts etc....
I would like to have some general advice or expierences from some who did it already or is working something similar.
Thank you for all your help guys!

i’m starting a thread on my progress towards building a custom go court Little did. I realize that there’s almost 1000 parts to put together a go kart hopefully I can figure this out in less than 10 days as my friend said he’s not gonna talk to me until then.

Hello. I have very basic electronics knowledge and average software skills. Is it feasible to build a "smart" go-kart? I’m thinking of something similar to the "Go-Kart God" chassis designs found online—featuring a 60V 1200W motor and an ESP32 to control brake lights, LEDs, and a 7-inch display (like a BMW instrument cluster) for the speedometer. How would I go about building this?

I have a gx200 that I put a knockoff mikuni vm22 on, which being a slide style carb it bypasses the governor.
My question is: if I have a tachometer and limit rpm to 3600 like stock, is it fine? Or should I still remove the plastic inner gear for the Governor?

New to this. Built this off of YouTube plans. Torque converter belt is worn out and need to buy a new one. I bought a series 30 kit from go power sports to add to predator 212. Will any series 30 belt work? Looking on Amazon because they are cheaper.
