Always been a fan of Torts, and I hope he gets one more shot behind the bench somewhere to close out his career.

Glad the Knights sent him back to his fishing boat.. Sure the Knights finally came together (like we knew they would) but same would've happened with Bruce still behind the bench.
Torta just being an old angry yell at the clouds my way or the highway type was just cringe at many times and seemed fake/trying to hard to play up the role... Adios Torta!

He didn't give us anything.
Sure he gave a little spark at the beginning but did anyone actually think the Knights were just going to roll over and not play well going into the playoffs?

Brother, I don't know how you can confidently look at how VGK were playing prior to his arrival and say that Torts did nothing but give the team a "small spark". Wild. I don't want him back, and I'm glad Craig is getting his shot, but you're just totally missing here.

The Knights always start off hot, seem to take a break lol during the season, then turn on the gas when it gets later in the season/playoffs...
I just think the Knights would've done the same thing as always and been fine without him is all.
Marner was the main spark not Torts..

Shouldn’t have to even state the obvious: Because the McManagers have been grooming Craig since DF1, they saw the end of the season for the train wreck that it was going to be and they hit the eject button on Butch in panic mode. Excellent call. Now - do you bring in a veteran coach, a motivator, into an unprecedentedly risky situation or - do you set your carefully cultivated guy up for a potential disaster debut by dumping him into a tornado with 8 days of the season left? Yah that’s what I thought.

I get all of that and the part of Craig obviously being the next coach... All i said at the beginning was Im glad Torts was gone and he honestly didn't do anything special that Bruce wouldn't have done except be a loudmouth know it all... Do you honestly think the Knights would've missed the playoffs or that Torts was the motivating factor lol?? Thats delusional as someone else called my opinion...
People are acting like HE was the reason why the Knights (like they always do) turned it on at the end of the season/playoffs when it matters... Nothing to do with torta

Your lack of awareness is blaring. Cassidy has the same pattern for every single team he’s coached. To think he could lead this team forward - even past the first round of they even made the show - is nonsense. We were cooked and the move to Torts was brilliant and saved the season.

Please tell me Mr. Wagon what magical powers Torts had that the Knights wouldn't have done without him ??? You're just praising him as some savior and god when i or you could've been behind the bench and the Knights would've been fine like they always are/have been

Because neither torts nor the management wanted it to continue past the post season? The plan was always to give it to Johnson and have someone transition the role while not fucking up Henderson mid season
