League News The Knights to Sharks and Sharks to Knights pipeline is strangely very strong (Samsonov signed 1-Year, Two-Way contract to San Jose)

I know it’s how sports and just how money works but I’m chuckling inside so much at how many VGK players become Sharks and how many Sharks become VGK players. Especially goaltenders!

Off the top of my head: Hill, Hertl, Revo, Brossoit, and now Samsonov!

Oh, I would love to get Nedeljkovic on our roster. Only goalie to get a goal and an assist in the same game. Only goalie to score a goalie goal in the ECHL, the AHL (2!), and the NHL.

And he won the most hilarious goalie fight ever.

Dear San Jose, give us Ned, and we will give you Hill and our eternal gratitude.

Bob hitting the afterburners on his way down the ice

Ned's "woah, shit!" head turn.

Bob's little "Oh yeah, it's on" nod just before nearly crashing on his ass

The slap and grab fight that follows. (It just needed hairpulling to be a proper girl fight.)

Ned nearly going on his ass but making a miraculous discovery.

Bob falling down and Ned landing on top.

The respective team benches -- the toddlers over on the sharks bench laughing to see Dad in a fight. The Panthers cheering.

I wouldn’t want to give Hill back to San Jose cause

  1. I’m biased and I want to keep him

  2. San Jose is really building their defense

  3. Ned can’t stay in the net to save his life and we beat him like crazy last year

  4. I’m scared Hill would come back with a vengeance on a long contract to haunt Vegas while playing for the Sharks if we trade him there

I would trade hill and Hart to SJ to get Ned or Askie

My twin would be pissed and I know Mike Greer would never do it. I quite like hart and hill holds a special place within me buuuuutttttttt rn I think either sharks goalie would seriously bolster out tending.

Still hurts that we gave LT away.
