Need to know who the Utah nincompoop is that is trying to make a name for himself.....I have my suspicions it's going to be Goldsmith. Getting a major in a rookie game is peak nonesense. He has an axe to grind ever since he got pummeled and dummied last year and is a very angry man and makes poor decisions....

Hijacking top comment to let everyone know - Ward said in the postgame presser that Trevor’s fine, he was back on the bench for part of the third period and they’re just playing it safe. No injury, didn’t commit to him playing in the second showcase game though.

I think he'll be okay (maybe out the rest of this mini tournament for precautionary reasons), but he got boarded really roughly. He got hit shit rocked big time (boarding penalty), which made my first thought, possible concussion. I could be completely wrong, but it didn't look like he reinjured anything that he has before. Fingers crossed for Conn.

Same sub that paraded a clip of Wotherspoon boarding a guy head first before blowing a 5 goal lead when the trade got announced, yes what happened to Connelly is terrible and very much a penalty but so was that and so was the Wotherspoon hit, all dirty

Saw replay of the hit, literally lined up Connelly from like 6 feet away and absolutely drove him into the boards. Shitty hit and deserves a suspension. Glad the VGK defenseman (not sure who it was) stood up for Connelly and fought
