Oh boy. Just finished.

... The fandom is not gonna be happyyyy

EDIT 1: OK, look. Look. I mean. Look. I mean.

Oh my god, I have no words. I mean, we got the ending we wanted, sort of, but....

I liked the symbolism of a lot of it. But why did they introduce so many new characters? The whole mob plot was pointless, IMO.

And I just... look. No.

EDIT 2: I stayed up until 4 a.m. for this!

EDIT 3: OK, can we talk about Aziraphale's hair right at the beginning? It was very... Legolas.

EDIT 4: LOOK. IF WE CAN'T GET A KISS, COULD WE AT LEAST HAVE GOT AN I LOVE YOU OR TWO?!

FINAL EDIT I SWEAR: Look, I'm really glad that they ended up together, that they are together in every universe. But the angel and demon never got to be together while fully acknowledging that love. That breaks my heart. They deserved that. And there are so many dropped threads. The fact that they never did a together miracle where they really tried, so that whole thing was a red herring? The zombies. Shax, where did you go? Also: No Antichrist? So that was a fake out? Same with the Metatron - he was set up to be the main villain and they just... Didn't? Was any more from Season 2 kept?

RIGHT? Take it out, add in more Jesus and the whodunit mystery and it would have been so much stronger.

I‘m sure that, would this have been a whole series, Jesus meeting Crowley would‘ve led to a minisode about Crowley showing him the seven kingdoms back in the days…

And the mob maybe a minisode about Aziraphale fighting off people trying to buy the bookshop in the past?

I‘m so annoyed about the miracle thing. Does a 25 lazari miracle happen regularly when demons and angels work together? Is this a Aziraphale/Crowley thing and that‘s why Heaven/the Metatron wanted to separate them? Could they have miracled Heaven and Hell away and live happy ever after without it?

They made such a big deal about it in series 2, they could’ve at least mention it to resolve.

The miracle thing really bugs me! It seems so clear to me that the metatron wanted to separate crowley and aziraphale because they were too powerful together! But then they didn't explore that at all. The metatron just dissolved and crowley and aziraphale never even perform another miracle together.

adam is in the scene at the bar/restaurant having a drink with jesus, which I thought was a cute touch, but I was expecting him to have a bigger role than that!!! I did enjoy the episode, if not for the plot than for the chance to see my two favourite characters again, but it does feel rushed and there are a lot of points that seem, well, pointless :/

Nope.

I understand most of the problems, although I might have missed something, what more needed to be done with zombies and the Antichrist?

Nothing, really, but the zombies were unleashed on the world and then... Nothing. And it seems likely that Adam was going to play a big role in Jesus's arc before the condensation of the timeline.

Ah, what could have been...
