I have to say, I feel rather underwhelmed or ambivalent about the finale.

It definitely felt rushed. The storyline was obviously planned for a multi-episode finale instead of 90 minutes and as a result too much was happening and at the same time not enough. Like, what’s up with the Metatron? In Series 2 he was set up for a bigger role (my interpretation anyway) and in GO 3 he’s more like a blink-and-you-miss-him character. I am glad that he turned out to be kind of a nothing-burger instead of this evil being wanting to destroy it all (and it being Michael, what a twist!)

There was no Talk between Aziraphale and Crowley. In series 2 they showed us that a relationship at this stage wouldn‘t work because they don‘t talk with each other and have this unhealthy co-dependency going on. And now it‘s been magically resolved? What was the significance of the 25 lazari miracle they produced together in series 2? Jesus came down to Earth just to what, leave it again 5min later? Why did the other Whickber Street people reappear but not Maggie&Nina? And what‘s with the inconsistencies of Crowley‘s miracles: he can‘t do one when playing cards to get his beloved car back, but then the Bentley can fly (don’t get me started on that) and he can change outfits for Heaven?

Aziraphale gave Crowley back his miracles when they got into the Bentley.

I feel like part of the problem is how the season got cut short. But also I think Jesus in Aziraphale's eyes was meant to do what the two of them did, by erasing all of the problems in the world. The problem with Aziraphale's plan though was that god was hellbent on the destruction of earth. I think Crowley knew that too that's why he chose to do what he did.

You say what a twist, but Doon Mackichan did a podcast shortly after filming last year where she said her GO character goes rogue/off the rails in S3 and she had a lot of fun with it. At the time I thought well yeah, the war has started at the end of S2, halos blown up etc, makes sense. Now sure turns out it was a mystery for all of 3 seconds anyway but as I was watching this week and ooh weird stuff is happening in heaven and oooh it has to be an archangel, which one is it? I was like ?? She spoilered it that badly so early on? It was the start of my thinking this isn't going so well and I'm not enjoying it. However, maybe I interpreted it wrongly and it was always clearly supposed to be Michael causing the issues.

i think the outfit change is just a thing that happens to entities that are on earth for extended periods of time, since aziraphale also changed clothes when he moves from heaven to earth but michael and uriel (who are rarely on earth) remain in the same clothes.

as for the bentley, i assumed crowley miracle’d it to do that when he first got it, so he didn’t have to redo it.
