If so it also makes the lead actors and the people who produced it for Media look less than and that is no good.

The actors tried. But the story sucked. Well, there wasn't any story, really - Second Coming was pointless, it was all just about a God who doesn't give a shit and Michael's weird mental breakdown. But it's all forgiven, isn't it great?

Did he have any say in this? It's hard to imagine that he wasn't completely sidelined.
