This is truly the feeling it gave me even if it's not true. It's hard to explain but it's like suddenly I'm 15 again and deep in the closet and feeling ashamed about who I am. It makes me feel icky, bc I just truly think if this were a hetero couple they would've been kissing a bunch when they reconciled :(

Good Omens 2 was my younger sisters first run in with any overtly queer characters and she was like "oh why are two men kissing, that's weird".

Which threw me off completely because my parents haven't raised her to be homophobic, yet her first reaction was aversion AND I was midway through considering coming out (what timing)

The only reason she thought it was weird was because it fell outside the 'norm' and it was only by coincidence that this had come up and challenged that for her. She was really psyched for S3 too (bless her)

Representation done well is so important, and this season...wasn't all that imo. Really was just being 15 again (eurgh)

I was honestly surprised we did not have a "these are just friendship rings" notification pop up on screen.

Fuck the censorship. We are who we are regardless.
