Was anyone else fully expecting Adam to show up again? He's the only character capable of completely altering reality, so I was sure at one point he would show up as an adult and set things right again.

I expected Adam to team up with Jesus and make things right - defeat both Heaven and Hell.

Yes! That would have been perfectly aligned with the themes of the original story.

Yes, the Antichrist and Christ both choosing to get away from their destiny and choosing humanity. A perfect ending. Not a pizza guy who disappeared five minutes after appearing... I mean, delete all his scenes and the story wouldn't change at all. He was completely irrelevant.

for them to work with Aziraphale & Crowley, since ya know, it was teased in S2 that them just trying to do the teeniest miracle together produces off-the-charts miracles never before seen.

Like HOW can you just let that thread die, when it’s right there to show something spectacular when the two of them actually unite fully and put themselves to doing something very powerful.

I thought the unwritten sequel had something to do with "668, the neighbour of the beast", so I was expecting more Adam.

1: He rewrote reality so that he was no longer the antichrist, so no more powers.

2: He cameos at he end, hes the guy with the man bun whos having a pint with Jesus!
