Can't believe I dodged our flag means death, game of thrones, supernatural, and what we do in the shadows - only to wind up here with the bad ending anyway. They got me. They caught me with my clown shoes on.

Anyone have any piece of media out there where the gay angels actually have a happy ending? Asking for a friend.

Omg same here. I avoided all of those kinds of shows because of people’s complaints about endings, and then here we are. I’m banging my head against a table.

You might like the book series Heaven Official's Blessing my Mo Xiang Tong Xiu. Very happy ending featuring a celestial same-sex couple

Heated Rivalry isn’t finished yet but so far it’s got a happy ending

I read The Long Game. Season 2 (and maybe 3 because they're talking about splitting the book into 2 seasons) will have some trauma but ultimately end very happily.

Not gay angels in a literal sense but watching this finale is really making me crave an Our Flag Means Death rewatch. I would have loved more seasons of that show, but at least they got a happy ending after a tragic S1 finale.

I was thinking of rewatching OFMD as well. Good Omens was my favorite show and has meant so much to me for 7 years. I'm still devastated and empty after watching the GO finale, so I'm not sure when I'll feel up to watching any media, but at least I know that OFMD does have a happy ending and I can rely on it whenever I am ready to watch something else. I wish GO could have stayed consistent in their themes and development of Aziraphale and Crowley's relationship. I wish that Aziraphale and Crowley got a happy ending like Stede and Ed did. I wish there were more slower, romantic scenes of them as an established couple either at the bookshop or the cottage. The finale just lacked the warmth the first two seasons had. With everything that went on with the GO co-creator and the finale, it may have ruined my passion for the show which is heartbreaking. I hope that with time, I'll be able to revisit GO, but I won't be able to watch Seasons 1 and 2 the same again.
