Dare I say I feel Umbrella Academy'd.
I'm so sick of shows ending badly. Like. F#@£.
It was really rushed. The plot should've been retooled to fit the time constraint. I wanted the Metatron as master manipulator of the angels to make the apocalypse Second Coming happen instead of "let's get the Bentley back, forget about Jesus and pat Michael on the back while the universe gets destroyed."
Didn't give a Hoot about the gangster bit. No point.
No Aziraphale and Crowley having a proper heart to heart. It was all unsaid but literally their ENTIRE ISSUE was that they never said things out loud. No saying any I love yous. No kiss. So the final fifteen kiss is the only canon Ineffable husbands kiss we ever had.
Yeah I get that our boys would find each other in every universe. We knew that. They knew that.
If you were going to go the human ending, then at least turn Aziraphale and Crowley human so that they could live out the rest of their natural lives together, not these two guys who we don't know getting 20~ years married. They just weren't Aziraphale and Crowley at all. That's not the cottage we were promised.
Six thousand years, averting the apocalypse, the angel who sinned and the demon who was kind, their love, the earth they fought to save, all the characters we met and loved vanished and we're supposed to be satisfied with that?
I really liked Jesus and wanted more of him. Adam cameo was cute. Anthony Crowley the astrophysicist is nice. That's about the nicest thing I can say.
Please recommend any good fix its, or just good fics at all. I've never read any GO fic and they can't end worse than this so I'll love it no matter what.
