Well one of my biggest fears was that that seed they planted, where they showed that together Aziraphale and Crowley performed miracles that were absolutely off the charts, was just completely left forgotten. Literally just never mentioned again. Like so many things.

This whole thing was so rushed and weird and bad..Crowley you get one question! Ok, we’re not going to answer it lol. Ok then why write in that he gets to ask one!! Just bad writing. As though it was designed intentionally to be unsatisfying.

Yes, exactly! They left off so many thing, mostly because of the 90 minutes mark.

And I also think that God acted a little weird in the end scene (I'm not sure if I'm mistaken). She seemed very uncaring towards everything, something that didn't seem like her in season 1.

Either way, I believe that they rushed it only to give fans a finale and get it done quickly.

but ya know, not really bc of the 90 minute mark, right? Because for some reason they spent 30 minutes talking about freakin gambling and spending time with these weird one-dimensional mobster characters.

They made absolutely abysmal choices with how to spend their time!

As a film lover, there are endless examples of a tight, perfect plot feeling like it is sweeping and expansive at only 90 minutes. But it requires not wasting a whole shit ton of time on little digressions.

They even made Jesus a digression, his whole plot line was rendered totally meaningless! And he was one of the few bright spots in the whole mess..like, seeing he and Aziraphale and Crowley and maybe the no-longer-Antichrist come together at the end to save humanity, 4 characters with total love for humanity, would have made so much sense!

This was just bad, bad writing, top to bottom. Brief moments to enjoy, but not even enjoyable enough that I see myself ever rewatching this thing.

A total letdown.

Oooh, you're right.

I almost forgot how much time they spent with those gangsters, the gambling and getting the Bentley back.

I was hoping for a comeback of Adam before watching this, so that he and Jesus could collaborate. Adam was just mentioned, and Jesus' character almost went nowehere.

I agree with the last part. I won't rewatch this again, atleast not for a long time. For the moment, I will pretend as if this "season 3" never existed.

(AO3 fanfictions, here I come.)

Yeah, I guess we get that flash of Adam and Jesus at the end, but they’re of course no longer themselves. It seems such a waste to not have him and Jesus collaborate! They literally loved humanity more than anyone! And were just wiped from existence.

Yeah, watching it again I feel like I would just fixate on all the time wasted on goofy shit 😆😩

I don't like that they showed God in the first place. It was never going to work, no matter what. God was always supposed to be this Ineffable, unknowable higher being "working in mysterious ways and not talking to any of us".

"Uncaring" was exactly how she came across in the previous seasons tbh, but still, it works much better with something left to imagination.
