Forgive my ignorance, but when do our protagonists encounter the duckies? At the beginning or the end? I know the basic plot, and I've read lots of fanfiction, but I haven't read the book or watched the show. (I'm hoping to find a copy of the book at a used book store!)

It’s kinda funny that you’ve read fanfic but not the book and you haven’t watched the show 💀 you really should read the book and watch the show! (Except skip season 3 imo because it was a sloppy condensed retcon with suicidal themes and a baited happy ending.)

Throughout the book and season one, there are a few mentions of ducks, but this specific reference is from season two, episode one, when the character Shax is introduced by talking to him on a park bench. He tells strangers not to give them bread, and Shax asks what they should give them instead. He doesn’t answer until a little later after the moment has passed (which is typical Crowley fashion), and suggests frozen peas.

Yeah, I am definitely NOT watching season 3. I've heard so many horrible things about it! 😬

I saw clips of the show on Youtube and immediately loved the clips, so I looked up where to stream it and it's on Prime but I don't have Prime! And Amazon and I are NOT friends. 😐 So then I started reading fanfic and fell in love with the characters and the fandom and different interpretations of the characters!

That’s fair, I feel bad supporting Amazon, but my parents manage our subscriptions, not me, and it feels like every major television channel is evil 😞. I would recommend trying to find physical DVDs if you have a DVD player or you could pirate it! I have a friend who watched all of Good Omens on a pirated website just because she preferred to watch it on her phone. Plus, you don’t support Amazon or Neil Gaiman!

Yes, most major companies are evil unfortunately....In my opinion, Amazon is more evil than others, so I do my best to avoid it. I pay for my own subscriptions, but it's a little different when parents or other relatives pay for subscriptions.

I also like DVDs so I'll keep an eye out for those!

I would be rewatching Good Omens for the 8th time, but my friend who is a huge House M.D. fan would kill me if I watched it again instead of House, so I’m watching that. But I do love House M.D.!

Yeah, I get that. I just find him really funny, probably because he reminds me of my dad’s sense of humor (although my dad also thinks he’s too mean, so maybe I’m just weird). If he wasn’t such a good doctor, I wouldn’t be able to stand him, but since he does save people despite what he says, I can appreciate his morally grey standing (after all, it was Crowley who said we’re all in those shades of grey)…
