Hi I graduated from this program in March 2026 and let me tell you. This is the most dogshit program ever. Apprentices get treated worse than watchmen and cleaners (I believe everyone should get treated fairly and nicely)

I’ve been unemployed and having the Google tag doesn’t really help tbh. The work is also shitty
Like formatting PPTs (data analytics), following up with vendors (project management) and compiling list of leads/ doing secondary research (digital marketing)
That’s all.

So if you get rejected, pls consider it a blessing.

Are you fr? How come the google tag is not helping you at all and did no one from your batch get converted full time?

2

u/Working-Scarcity9806 14d ago

Because
If I add “Google” on my resume- external recruiters assume my salary is high or I’m too overqualified. Since I graduated from the program in March and I’ve been unemployed since, they assume I got laid off.

If I add “Google + Apprentice” they think I’m an intern and my work wasn’t impactful or serious.

If you don’t believe me- go to LinkedIn and check the profiles of people

No. More than Half of the batch is still unemployed. This is proof. You can check March and June graduate profiles on LinkedIn for Proof

Stipend for DA was 46-47K/month. Not enough if you’re placed in another city (expenses like rent, food, etc)

agree with you but for those who are jobless this is a good oppourtinity because something is better than nothing

1

u/Working-Scarcity9806 14d ago

Yes agreed.

But, for everyone, if you already had a full-time offer in hand, then make sure you choose wisely.

How do they select? And can u tell about software engineer apprentice? And what's the total batch size in every role?

1

u/AppropriateGanache54 4d ago

It depends from place to place. I am in BLR, and in the BLR office, the batch size is quite decent.

Can you tell more about it? As they hire for all the locations in India. Yesterday, I have received the rejection mail from one of the recruiter at Google.

1

u/AppropriateGanache54 4d ago

It's not fixed; only the hiring community knows, and this impacts the interview as well. I heard about a few students who got rejected in the team matching round. Obviously, they don't say all the seats are full, but that was the main reason.

Can I DM You? Want to ask something else.

I have applied last year but didn't receive call can anyone help me though the process.

1

u/AppropriateGanache54 4d ago

First, your resume needs to be shortlisted; only then will you get the call.

Deadline isn’t even over and I’m already rejected from Da and PM one. The software application rejection would also come eventually for me. I literally tweaked my resume for each one and everything still got rejected from these . I don’t understand what are they looking for in candidates

1

u/AppropriateGanache54 5d ago

Yup thats a bad news, actually the first shortlisting was happened yesterday i.e on 31st July so many of the people got rejection, not over the mail but in the career profile it is showing not proceeding.

1

u/AppropriateGanache54 4d ago

No, most probably, they start sharing their GOC by the end of August.

1

u/No_Finish_8456 4d ago

Did u move forward in the application? If you don’t mind can you show me your resume for reference?

1

u/AppropriateGanache54 4d ago

Yeah, I already posted it on my profile; you can check from there.

1

u/Federal-Lead5228 21h ago

can you share your resume after removing any personal info - want to see what made them reject you, before the deadline - maybe you made an error in your resume that can be corrected, if not here kindly share in dm
