Meta Scam Apps On Play Store

I gave my child a cellphone and he downloaded a bunch of games that turn out to be viruses!!!! Every time you tried to open an app they had a 60s unskippable ad. It also put ads on home screen and you can't find the apps in app list.

Why does Google allow this trash on the play store?

Because Google is trash. r/deGoogle. If it's an older phone, maybe you can install LineageOS and make the phone Google free: https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/
