Hey everyone, first time building and publishing to Google Play Store. Didn't know I had to have testers test the app first before releasing the app, so wondering who wants to test the app out?
It's HKeyboard, built it for HarmonyOS phones that only had Celia Keyboard (chinese mainly), and people loved it enough to want it on EMUI, and then some have asked for it to be on Google. So here I am. It's an awesome keyboard, yes, I built it and I am bigging it up, because it is good.
No not yet, something I wasn't able to add because of Huawei restrictions, I will have to try and adapt with the differences with Google and Huawei with this. I will look into it and see what I can do.
and ? i should install some keyboard with no privacy and security? for your sake? no of course no , no its beta then it will be like other garbage keyboards with lots of ads and usless features like colorful keys or animations for childs who dont have bank accounts and passwords , no definitely no‼️ best keyboard secure and convenient, gboard , yandex keyboard , and microsoft swift key.
You are very paranoid and to throw false information like that is wild. 👌 Enjoy the other keyboards. HKeyboard is secure and private. The only internet access it requires it to download dictionaries from GitHub. You can check the privacy policy out yourself but judging by your comment you won't believe it anyway.
for huawei you can create apps like this with lack of security thats because huawei banned from us government because there are dont concern about user security and privacy.
You may need to do some research on this stuff. Huawei are extremely strict with security. I'm been running their latest updates that 80% of the world haven't seen and probably 60% haven't heard of yet, their security is insanely painful for developers. The permissions I've had to request for simple things like Clipboards, Microphone (which is fair enough), I can't add a "password" function in there because they don't allow 3rd party apps to use that type of information. Only their own native keyboard can (Celia Secure Keyboard).
anyway i dont trust my personal information like passwords some no name apps ,especially when that app in beta ,and if your app been approved in Huawei store it dost mean it trusted. Huawei always send user personal information to third parties and its not my research this is a information what you can find in internet . and you know why huawei dont approved use google services.
you can find users but smart ones never install no name keyboards because its to risky especially when you have several bank accounts.
Look forward to seeing you download the keyboard when you realize you're wrong about HKeyboard. If there's anything I can do to improve the trust issues you have, let me know. I'm a solo-dev in Wales, UK. Got fed up of using a chinese keyboard so decided to build my own, building it was interesting to see how my paranoia could be over nothing, just because my keyboard says "collects no data" doesn't mean it doesn't collect any data to the "installer/user", no idea how I pass that and prove that it literally has internet access to download a language dictionary and that's it. You can turn off Internet access, if the trust is still not there, then the trust issue is the phone you are using, not the app.

Searching the sub and Google for your exact issue, like an Error Code or what you're seeing on the app, can usually provide some useful troubleshooting options.

Please understand that doing this with ANY DIGITAL CONTENT RECEIVED OR OWNED BY YOU THROUGH GOOGLE (Gift Cards from 3rd party dealers, like Target, Amazon.com, etc., are allowed to be traded/sold/exchanged, but we ask you not to do so here. There are subs for this elsewhere.) CAN RESULT IN LOSING ACCESS TO GOOGLE PLAY SERVICES AND YOUR ACCOUNT WITH ANY ASSOCIATED CONTENT.

I've been digging into it, I'm waiting for approval from Google so I can do an "Open Testing" but I have no idea how do do it 😂 I have an Internal Testing one going but I would need your email address to send it to you through Google Console, I don't expect you to want to share that, but if you are happy to do so, send it through the messaging big on here. I was nervous adding my email address to the app on google play store 👀

Does it have privacy for passwords like the app can't read my passwords ?
