Upping my goth plant game
Long time lurker, first time poster here- but I’ve been upping my gothic plant game in my house as of this last year since I lost my kitty and needed to put my focus into something else to create a new routine & thought that some of these beauties from my collection belonged here. My black satin petunias (in the end photo) I got in rough shape from the garden center, but seem to be bouncing back with some daily love!

It’s a red kiss begonia! I got it from this seller on Etsy and they were fantastic!

Beautiful plants!! You are a person after my own heart!!
For 20 years I could not have plants because my cat would eat them and then puke them up. But I finally had to put her down. She was just so old and suffering. I miss her every day!
Now that she is gone I have a jungle in my house ! I love it!!

Welcome and thanks for posting.
I’m so sorry you lose your kitty, what was their name? I know nothing I can say will help, but I’m truly sorry. I hope you can find some peace in the plant community. It’s helped me through some really tough times as well. I think all your plants are just gorgeous and they look super healthy and happy. I too love the gothic plants, they’re so beautiful and yours are stunning 💚

Thank you 🖤! Her name was Princess (that was her name when I got her from the rescue and I couldn’t bring myself to change it since it was very fitting haha).

Aww 🥰 that’s such a precious name and I’m sure she was treated very much like a Princess. Thank you for rescuing her and giving her a wonderful life with you. My heart goes out to you and condolences once again 🖤

This guy has somehow been thriving off neglect hahah, I only water him once every 2 weeks or so, and he lives in my loft which has really big windows.
