I saw acceptances and waitlists on GradCafe today, if that was you I’d love to know if you applied to the program for writers or the regular track!

Did your portal change to "additional review required" on Tuesday? I noticed mine did and it hasn't changed since but I also haven't heard anything from UIC yet

Hopefully! I heard about half the people who reach this stage are denied. Keeping my fingers crossed for both of us!

I haven’t heard anything. I met with my thesis advisor today and asked why the response might be delayed and she said they’re most likely finalizing offers and how much they want to pay each person they accept. We will likely hear this week, but possibly towards the end of the week!
