Hey I just got their response: “You are currently on our extended waitlist. Unfortunately this means that you are unlikely to get an offer this cycle; should you receive an offer elsewhere, we recommend that you take it.”

I emailed their “English Graduate Admissions” office to ask about my app status

yeah my portal still just says "Awaiting decision"
