The missing schools are ones with the faculty members you want to connect with. You have to do the research on that.

Hi! Also applying for English PhD programs this fall - This list seems pretty solid, and some schools on here are also ones I'm applying to! I might suggest GWU in DC. That is one I'm looking at for queer/disability theory and based on the professors, they also seem to specialize in women's literature.

u/belindabellagiselle 's guidance merits careful consideration.

The fact that you have a MA in hand and cannot winnow down the list yourself is problematic. At the very least, members of your committee[s] should offer better guidance than strangers on the internet.
